Where can I live?
Graduate student housing is in smaller off-campus apartment buildings. You can get a list of these facilities on our building search page.
What is my user name?
If you are a new, incoming student your user name is the e-mail address you supplied when applying to USC. If you are a returning or continuing non-resident student, your user name is your USC e-mail address.
I didn’t get a housing assignment in the General Lottery. Does the Sophomore Guarantee still apply to me?
Yes. If you will be a sophomore next year and participated in the USC Housing Renewal process, the guarantee extends to the Wait List. Who may be on the Wait List?
All UHR participants with an active application who have either not been assigned to housing during UHR, or have not confirmed a contract during UHR may sign up for the Wait List.
How do I sign up for the Wait List?
To be included on the Wait List you will need to open your online application and click “Wait List SIgn Up” by the submission deadline.
How does the Wait List process work?
When we reach your number on the Wait List we’ll contact you at your USC e-mail address to offer you a housing assignment. Does my Lottery Selection Time matter?
Yes. The UHR selection time you were assigned in February will be used to determine your place on the Wait List. As spaces become available, assignments will be offered to students in the order they appear on the Wait List.
When will I get an assignment?
We will begin to offer assignments to students on the Wait List in late March, after we have processed cancellation and reassignment requests from UHR housing contract holders.
