Summer Housing is available each year from just after Commencement in May until just before Fall Check-In in August. Not all university housing facilities are available for summer occupancy. In addition to current USC students, non-students who meet specific requirements may also be assigned housing for the summer. Information about housing for the upcoming summer is generally available in mid-March.

Summer Housing has four convenient contract periods to choose from, each with a fixed start and end date.
Application
There is a separate application and assignment process for Summer Housing. Applications may be submitted on our online portal once the application opens.
Maymester
Students requiring Summer Housing due to participation in the university’s Maymester program should read this information provided in the spring.
Summer Housing will not be available in 2028 as USC Housing is
fully reserved in support of the LA28 Olympic Games.
