With the variety of buildings and room types offered by USC Housing, furniture varies, but all facilities are fully furnished.

Furniture

All university housing facilities come with basic furniture (beds, chairs, tables, etc.) appropriate to the room type.  Residents will need to bring basic household items with them.  Please review our “What to Bring with You” page for more information

  • Apartments with living rooms are furnished with a couch, armchair, coffee table and in some cases, end tables.
  • Every resident is provided with a bed, desk, desk chair, three-drawer dresser and closet space.
  • In all undergraduate and graduate buildings with shared bedrooms, beds are extra-long twin size (36” X 80”).  Single occupancy bedrooms in graduate facilities have a full-sized bed (extra long, measuring 54″ x 80″).

Kitchens

  • Apartments with full kitchens are equipped with a sink, stove and full-sized refrigerator (no microwave or other appliances) and include a dining table and chairs.
  • Smaller format apartments, such as the two-bedroom loft units in University Village or bachelor units have a smaller kitchenette.
  • Residence hall rooms and suite bedrooms come with a microfridge (a small refrigerator-and-microwave combination unit).
