Gender neutral housing are apartments where USC students can live with roommates regardless of gender identity or biological sex. Traditional housing options that match roommates based on biological sex can prove unsafe and unwelcoming, particularly for LGBTQ+ individuals. The gender-neutral housing option allows students to live in a safe and supportive environment.
If you are interested in living in Gender Neutral Housing please indicate this is the Special Interest section of the online application. You will also need to complete a supplemental application available on the USC Residential Education website.
For additional information please consult the Gender Neutral Housing FAQ.
