How much will living in USC housing cost you?  Here are estimated university-billed living yearly expenses for undergraduates:

Freshmen

Estimated yearly living expenses for 2023-2024, (two semesters of rent, default required full meal plans and optional parking) range from $19,541 to $21,785 for the more common suite and residence hall double room types. Rents for some assignments, especially single-occupancy room types, are higher and will affect the yearly cost.  Cable and Internet connections, and all utilities, are included in all freshman buildings.

Upperclassmen

For upperclassmen, the estimated per-year living expenses for 2023-2024 (two semesters of rent, default partial required meal plans and optional parking) range from $10,832 to $15,492 for the more common apartment types in a double-occupancy room. Rents for some assignments, especially single-occupancy room types, are higher and will affect the yearly cost. Cable and Internet connections, and all utilities, are included in all undergraduate buildings.

Estimates do not include items such as groceries for those living in assignments without full meal plans or personal incidentals.
